Born in: Del Norte, Colorado
Resided in: Windsor, Colorado

Eulice Antoinette (Kroschel) Kogovsek passed away peacefully early Christmas morning 2025.  She was born October 12, 1943 in Del Norte, Colorado.  Eulice grew up in Colorado’s San Luis Valley and graduated from Del Norte High School and, then, attended Park’s School of Business in Denver, Colorado. Eulice then went to Adams State University on a music scholarship where she met her future husband Ray Kogovsek whom she married in 1964.  She moved to Pueblo with Ray where they raised their two daughters.

When her daughters were old enough, she went back to school earning her B.A. degree in Mass Communications from CSU-Pueblo.  Eulice then worked as a marketing director in the healthcare industry and also produced the game show Matchwits for the local PBS station at CSU-Pueblo.  Wanting to serve others, Eulice earned a Master’s degree in Counseling from UCCS and operated her own psychotherapy practice.  As a Licensed Professional Counselor, she also worked for Pueblo’s Sangre de Cristo Hospice.  There she positively impacted so many, as she assisted individuals and their families with their end of life journey.

During all this time from 1967-1984, Eulice worked the campaigns with Ray.  She was an integral contributor to the successful campaigns and an active political partner in serving the constituents of the districts.

Eulice and Kathy Wise found each other and their commitment ceremony was in 2002.  They shared a life where they enjoyed adventure and travel. They later moved to Windsor, Colorado, spending time both there and at their home in Surprise, Arizona.

She loved her family and friends and was always there to provide any assistance needed. A person was never a stranger, as Eulice went out of her way to make each person feel welcome and special.  She respected each person and their individuality, and understood each individual had talents and value.  Eulice enjoyed entertaining family and friends, the old time politics, the outdoors and travel.

She is survived by her daughters Lisa Marie Kogovsek, ToniRae Andres (Curtis), grandson Reece Raymond Andres and many family members and dear friends.

Eulice was predeceased by her son Raymond Peter Kogovsek, Jr., parents Ruthven August Kroschel and Geraldine Suzanne (Hoffman) Kroschel, her former husband Raymond Peter Kogovsek, partner Kathryn Rae Wise, and sons-in-law Gregory J. Plutt and Robert J. Geiger, Jr.

Celebrations of life will be scheduled and posted within this site. In lieu of flowers and gifts to the family, donations can be made to Heifer International, 1 World Avenue, Little Rock, Arkansas  72202 heifer.org, which assists families and communities in their path toward independence.

  1. CandleImageI’m sorry to read this. Eulice was a very caring person. She was a Social Worker for Sangre de Cristo Hospice when my father in law was on services. She was very thoughtful and kind to my Mother in law during a very difficult time. Rest in peace.
