I was introduced to Maggie Divelbliss in 1953. It was the first year Corwin Jr. High School opened its doors and she was teaching Colorado History. Our class was the first class that completed all 3 years at Corwin and went on to graduate from Central High School in 1959, She was young, pretty, energetic and Ms. Divelbliss never changed. Every time I saw here through the years she looked as pretty as I remembered her the first day of class in 1953. She was small but mighty and led an accomplished life. Pueblo was fortunate to have her as she loved Pueblo and her contribution not only as an educator but as the heart and soul of The Sangre de Cristo Arts & Conference Center is her legacy. Ms. Divelbliss will be remembered by all that knew and loved her. She earned her wings. May she rest in peace. Lucille Paglione-Corsentino C
