I always think about you Walter, I miss you, so does Chris W, and I always visit you in person at the cemetery of your grave that you buried by your brother.

Walter Scott Wood, 87, passed away Jan. 9, 2024. He was born on October 5th, 1937, in Burns, Colorado. Walter is preceded in death by his mother, Jean Wood; father, Raymond Wood; brother, Raymond Wood; guardian, Lousie Jordan; and special caregiver, Jonna McClure.
Walter leaves behind his special friends at Boone Guest Home, Pueblo Diversified Industries, and other community organizations. Walter has lived with Boone Guest Home since 1970 and he attended Pueblo Diversified Industries for 30+ years, where he was employed and participated in the day program.
Funeral service, 10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 18, in the Montgomery & Steward Chapel with Mike Jordan officiating. Interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at www.MontgomerySteward.com
