Virginia Rose Walker, 78, of Pueblo West, died on October 16th, 2023 in her home surrounded by loved ones. She was born July 6th, 1945, in Ely, Nevada to Rose Zamberletti and Floyd Heyborne who both preceded her in death. Virginia is also preceded in death by her husband, John; brother, William; and sister, BJ.
Virginia is survived by her daughter, Rosann Walker; son, Russell Walker; sisters, Annette McFarland, Bell Shober (John), Susan Lammers (Joel), and Tammy Cobb (David); grandchildren, Tony (Kate), David (Katie), Jacob, Irene, and Ian; and she also loved her six great-grandchildren.
Her funeral will be held at 10:30 a.m. on November 4th, 2023 at Swallows Cemetery in Pueblo West. A reception will follow directly after the service and will be announced at the funeral.
Your mother was a wonderful person, and I will miss her greatly. She was one of the best aids I had, and she loved the children.
