Tyerail Dale White

July 31, 1981 – August 6, 2025

It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our cherished Tyerail Dale White, who courageously fought his battle with cancer before peacefully departing the morning of August 6, 2025. Tye, 44, of Pueblo, Colorado, was an exceptional son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend whose kindness and spirited nature left an indelible mark on all who knew him.

Born on July 31, 1981, in Canon City, Colorado, to Ray Dale White and Jerri Kay Ricks Smith, Tye seemed destined for the cowboy life from his earliest days. His journey began as a young boy learning to rope goats in his grandfather White’s corrals, a passion that would define much of his life. Under his father’s guidance, Tye progressed to larger roping competitions and eventually became a champion bull rider, fearlessly taking on the biggest and meanest bulls with remarkable skill and courage.

Tye’s deep connection with horses was legendary, earning him the title of “Mr. Horseman” alongside his beloved companion, Flash. This bond exemplified his natural affinity for the cowboy way of life that he embraced so fully.

Professionally, Tye dedicated many years to plumbing, where his natural talent and strong work ethic made him a respected craftsman in his field.

Tye is lovingly survived by his mother, Jerri Smith; his sister and brother-in-law, Athena and Cody Korn; his nephew, Blake Lee White; his nieces, Isabella Dawn Barth, Stormy Dawn Barth, Chloe Dawn White, Gracie Ray Dawn White, and Gretchen Dawn Korn; his aunts, Cindy Dewitt, and Shirley (Greg) Schwab; and his uncles, Joe White, Roy (Darlene) White, and Dan (Linn) White; as well as numerous cherished cousins and friends who will forever hold his memory close.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ray White; his grandparents, Joe and Margy White and Everett and Patricia Ricks; his uncle, Johnny Ricks; and his aunts, Sammie Ricks Berner and Diane White.

Tye’s mother and sister would like to personally thank those who made Tye’s final chapter and his illness a little less painful with love and laughter, including his loving cousin, Amanda Cruz, and life long friends, Landon Talley and Brandon McDowell.

To our dear Tye Tye, the time has come for you to ride a new trail, cowboy. Our love for you will endure always.
