Timothy Wayne Chrisman, age 70, passed away peacefully in his home on January 2, 2024, after a long battle with cancer. He was born on August 10, 1953, in Boone County, Missouri, and grew up in Grandview, Missouri. Tim served in the Army as a Cannon Crewman and moved to Colorado while in the Army during the 80s. After leaving the military, he worked as a Custodian for District 70 and in Otero County Schools, where he was loved by the students, teachers, and administration alike. He also worked for the city of Rocky Ford.

Tim is survived by his wife, Donna M Chrisman, and daughters Kaylee Chrisman, Tiffany Chrisman, and Tina Pace (Johnny); grandchildren Jeremy Witty (Hailey), Shawna Witty, and Jesse Witty; and 3 great-grandsons. He is also survived by his brother James, and sisters Debbie and Leighann. He was preceded in death by his father, James Chrisman, mother, Daisy Chrisman, and mother-in-law Martha E. Gomez.

Tim was an active member of Faith Baptist Church in Fowler, where he served as a trustee. He was known for his gentle and quiet nature, quick sense of humor, and ability to make those around him comfortable with the laughter he brought into the discussions. He quickly gained the respect and friendship of all who knew him.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 6, 2024, at 11 am at Faith Baptist Church, 212 2nd Street, Fowler, CO. The family will receive guests at the church during a reception following the memorial service.
