  1. CandleImageHere it is one year since I got married, it’s also one month and 1 day since you’ve been gone. Time has seemed to stand still this past month and yet it seems to have flown by. Sunday when Chris and I went to see mom, I was reminded of the time you drove Holly’s convertible but were too tall. The top had to come down and you were looking over the top of the windshield. Then today was telling Chris about you being attacked by the cat and Bar Chek was just looking at you crazy (from what I’ve been told) I just remember coming home from work and seeing all the emergency lights in front of the house. That then reminded me of calling you in the middle of the night because a raccoon was trapped on my porch and Sugar Ray was going crazy. Being on the phone with mom, think it the payphone bank, mom worried about you getting attacked. Now who am I going to call I’d there’s a raccoon trapped on my porch? Granted I have Chris, but it’s not the same as a Das. I love and miss you. Think about you daily. Was carrying around the bear you gave me last year for my birthday, just not the same. But as I celebrate a year of marriage I pray Chris and I have a long marriage like you and mom.

  2. Steve, my brother 68 years. And many memories I have from childhood through his death. As a sister he kept others kids from picking on us. He could but not anyone else. He and I always had our conflicts but we were always there when we needed each other. Lately he was teaching me to play the guitar. While mine does not hold a toon very well. He could always tell when I had a string off key. Sure enough he was right even on the phone.
He was loved in life and now in death. He will be missed.
