Stella Marie Fesmire
November 3, 1963 ~ March 11, 2026

Stella Marie Fesmire, of Pueblo, Colorado, passed away unexpectedly on March 11, 2026, at the age of 62.
Stella was born in Pueblo, Colorado, to Elmer and Joanne Housh. She was the youngest of four children and carried with her a lifelong love for family, friends, and the community she called home.
Stella dedicated more than 35 years of her career to the field of vision care, serving as Regional Manager for Bright Eyes Vision Clinic. She was deeply respected by her colleagues and cherished by her work family at Southern Colorado Eye Care Associates. Stella took great pride in supporting the optometrists and teams she worked alongside and built lasting relationships throughout her career. She shared a special professional relationship and friendship with her boss, Dr. Michael Cozzetta, who was one of her biggest supporters and admirers throughout her career. Their mutual respect and partnership meant a great deal to her.
Above all else, Stella loved her family. She found immense joy in the time she spent with those closest to her. She especially cherished her role as a grandmother and loved spending time with her grandchildren, Nikko, Rosa, and Beau, who brought her endless happiness and pride.
Stella also had a deep love for animals, especially her beloved dog, Bella, who was always faithfully by her side. The recent loss of Bella was heartbreaking for Stella, and those who knew her take comfort in imagining that the two are now reunited.
A true Coloradoan at heart, Stella loved spending time in the mountains, fishing, and immersing herself in the beauty of nature. She appreciated life’s simple pleasures and treasured sharing those moments with the people she loved.
Stella is survived by her loving husband, Kevin; her adoring children, Bryce Hofmann, Zach Hofmann, Gavin (Ashley) Fesmire and Jessica Katalenic; her cherished grandchildren, Neeko, Rosa, and Beau; her sister, Linda Hamler; and her nieces, Crystal (Kevin) Estrada, Chelsea (Salvador) Soto, Adrean Housh, Michelle McGlothin and Jamie Holland. She will also be deeply missed by her extended family, friends, and coworkers who were fortunate enough to know her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Joanne Housh; her siblings, Sharon Stoker Ralph Housh and brother-in-law Bill Hamler; and her beloved dog, Bella. Stella requested that no formal services be held. She will be cremated, and her ashes will be scattered in the Colorado mountains she loved so dearly.
In the quiet beauty of the Colorado mountains she loved, Stella’s spirit will always remain. Her kindness, love, and memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. In lieu of flowers, Stella would want you to “pay it forward.”
