Ruth A. Lindsey, 104, passed away Jan. 14, 2022. She was born June 1, 1917, in Denver, Colo., to Michael and Julie Watkins who preceded her in death. Also, preceding her sister, Sara Ruegge; brother, Jack Watkins; husbands, Samuel Ross and Ralph Lindsey. Survived by daughters, Elinor Meiskey and Linda Shiflett; grandchildren, Dean (Liz) Sandoval, Shelly Rodarte, Lori Meiskey, Suzanne Meiskey and Michael Meiskey; and many great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Ruth had a job as a secretary for a lawyer in Denver. She loved her dogs, gambling, dancing and painting. She will be greatly missed and was dearly loved.
