Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. I was saddened by the passing of Rudy. He was a great friend to my dad, Jim Provost. They talked often and he would come to see dad when he couldn’t get out any longer. Your dad was one of the last people my dad talked to before he passed in May. When my dad couldn’t dial the phone, he would have one of us dial it for him. They would share great memories of their school days. They would also talk about when they lived across the road from each other at 38th Lane and South Road. I believe the two of them were the last of that generation that grew up in Vineland. Thinking of the family at this sad time.

    • Thank you Pam. I know my Dad enjoyed visiting and talking with your Dad. I am sorry for your loss as well. I know our Dads’ shared many memories and stories. You are probably right they were the last ones of the Vineland era. Back in May that is when my Dad was making a lot of changes in his living arrangements. I do remember listening to one of his voicemails your Dad left. Take care.
      Debbie

  3. Some of my greatest childhood memories are being around uncle Rudy. I haven’t got to see him for several years, but I sure miss him. He was a great man. My dad always talks about how good person he was and how kind he was. I often think about a fishing trip. He took us on when I was a kid probably in fourth or fifth grade at the time. So much fun he truly made the world a better place.

  4. Our deepest condolences to you and your family. Debbie and Kim, you are in our thoughts.

Wishing you a happy and healthy new year,
    Steve and Sandy Bourell

  5. My remembrance of Rudy was at Ethan’s and Amanda’s engagement dinner at the restaurant at the top of Keystone Mountain! He got to the restaurant under is own power navigating 2 ski gondolas! The was an amazing man!
Loved by many! Reunited with his love!
    Rest in peace Rudy!
