Francine, Im so sorry to learn of Ross’ passing. May your memories of happier times be a comfort. “God is our refuge and strength. A helper who is always found in times of trouble.” Psalm 46:1
Francine, you are in my prayers during this tender time of readjustment.
Coach Rosenthal was my track coach at Southern Colorado State college from 1968 to 1971. I ran the hurdles & he was a big help with my success. He was very concerned about the welfare & progress of all the runners on the team & was so very encouraging for our welfare & preparation not only to compete at the highest level but to also prepare for our futures after college. He treated me great. I am so very sorry for his passing & THANK YOU COACH for all you taught me & your guidance on & off the track. Ralph Gonzalez

I’m so sorry to hear about Ross. For many years, he and Francine were regulars at our annual BBQ, and Ross always took such joy in the food and treats. They truly felt like part of the Purkey family, and their presence meant a lot to all of us. Sending heartfelt wishes to Francine and Kelcey during this time.
I am sorry for your loss Mrs. Rosenthal. Hugs to you my favorite teacher!
