Raymond John Miller     ~             December 1, 1930 to October 31, 2020

Raymond was born in Pittsburgh, PA.  Preceded in death by Louise and Walter Miller, Parents; Ruth Miller, sister.  Survived by Doris Miller wife, Mary and Ken Samuelson daughter and son-in-law, Lori and Nick Prins daughter and son-in-law, Kristina Samuelson granddaughter.  Ray started his career with Bell of PA in Pittsburgh, PA.   Ray and Dorry married in June of 1958.  Started their family shortly thereafter and moved to Sewickley, PA.  Ray and Dorry moved to Pueblo, CO in 1971. While working at Mountain Bell/US West Ray was very active in the Telephone Pioneers organization.  Ray and Dorry raised their 2 girls and were very active with their children’s activities.  Ray retired in 1990 and he and Dorry started a Craft business Woods N Goods.  They were active in their business until they both retired.  Ray was a part of King of Kings Lutheran Church Social ministry Program, he was the leader of the toy makers group. This group created and made toys for many children in need in the community.  The men were always working in Ray’s work shop creating wonderful toys. During Ray’s life he was a strong believer of giving back to the community whether it was being a role model for young men or working with the less fortunate in the community. Ray was always helping many community programs and was very fond of the work done by Sister Nancy at El Centro de los Pobres.  Ray was a very loving and devoted family man.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to El Centro de los Pobres (immigrants & low income) http://www.pueblostepup.org/support-our-work/donate/ Memorial service, 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 9, 2020, in the Montgomery & Steward Chapel.
