Paul Richard White
October 18, 1957 – August 6, 2025
Paul Richard White was born on October 18, 1957, in Phillipsburg, Kansas, the youngest child of Warren and Jean White. On August 6, 2025, at the age of 67, Paul was called home to his Lord and Savior, passing unexpectedly in Pueblo West, Colorado.
Paul grew up in rural Kansas, spending his childhood in Phillipsburg, Goodland, and Norton. He graduated from Norton High School in 1976 and went on to study accounting at Mid-Plains Community College in North Platte, Nebraska.
In 1978, Paul married the love of his life, Barbara. Together, they built a home filled with love and laughter in North Platte, where they welcomed their son, Daniel. During this time, Paul began his career with Nebraska Machinery, selling Caterpillar parts and forming lifelong friendships while working in a field he truly enjoyed.
In 1992, Paul and his family relocated to Denver, Colorado, where he continued his career with Wagner Equipment Company in Aurora. Four years later, they moved to Byers, Colorado, a place that became their cherished home for the next 25 years. Paul became an integral part of the Byers community and faithfully served his church family as both deacon and treasurer. His quiet leadership, steadfast faith, and humble spirit left a lasting mark on all who worshiped alongside him.
After retiring from Wagner in 2021, Paul and Barbara settled in Pueblo West to be closer to their son, daughter-in-law, and grandchildren. Retirement allowed Paul to spend his days embracing the things he loved most—his family, his faith, and the simple joys of life. He found joy in cars, racing, woodworking, traveling, and, most of all, making memories with those he held dear.
Paul will be remembered as a kind, humble, and faithful man. He was a devoted husband of 46 years, a loving father, a proud and adoring grandfather, a loyal brother, and a trusted friend. His life was a testament to his unwavering faith and generous heart.
Paul is survived by his wife, Barbara; his son, Daniel (Susann); and their five children—Hailey, Caylin, Alena, Finley, and Ethan. He is also survived by his siblings: Eileen Jesse (Robert) of Kansas City, Warren White (Candace) of Kansas City, and Beverly Funke (Mark) of Oklahoma City; along with many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, three aunts, and one uncle.
Paul’s presence was a blessing to every life he touched, and his absence will be deeply felt. His legacy of faith, love, and kindness will live on in the hearts of his family and friends forever.
