Natalie DeLuca, 91, passed away April 20, 2018. Survived by her children, Carole DeLuca of Colorado Springs and Anne (Jay) DeLuca-Batzner of Plymouth, Wisc.; and granddaughter, Emily Wolf of Mustang, Okla. Preceded in death by her husband, Joe DeLuca; parents, Edward and Anne Zalewski; son, Paul DeLuca; siblings, Robert Zalewski and Paula Kerr. Natalie was born Sept. 15, 1926, in Granite City, Ill. She retired as an elementary teacher from Pueblo School District 60 after 30 years of service. She loved teaching to the very end and was a literacy advocate. Natalie loved her church and was an active member of the Altar Society. She also enjoyed gardening, especially her roses.
Rosary, 6 p.m. Tuesday and funeral Mass, 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 25, both at Cathedral of the Sacred Heart, 11th and Grand Ave. Interment, Roselawn Cemetery.
