Nancy Nicoloff, 70, passed away June 24, 2023. Survived by her mother, Beverly Brill; brother, Eric (Janise) Brill; niece, Sabre (Andrew) Hecht; cousins, Claudia (Craig) West and Nels (Jeanne) Backlund; aunt, Gretchen Backlund; special friends, Mary Alice Cowen, Sandy Hochevar and Colleen Guthrie. Preceded in death by her husband. Jack E. Nicoloff in 2002 and her father, William Brill. Nancy was born on October 9, 1952, in Pueblo. She was very active in Girl Scouts, was a Brownie and she continued on to serve as Assistant Camp Director at Lazy Acres, as well as serving as Assistant Girl Scout Leader for two years. Nancy enjoyed sewing, camping, hiking, gardening and reading. She attended Carlile Grade School, Keating Jr. High School for the 7th and 8th grade and Pitts Middle School for 9th grade. She graduated from South High School and CSU, receiving a BS degree in Home Economic Education and also received her AS degree in Respiratory Care from Biosystems in Phoenix. Nancy taught Home Economics in Page, Utah and Salida, Colo. Nancy entered the medical field and serviced as a Respiratory Therapist at several hospitals, including St. Joseph Hospital in Phoenix, Arizona, Methodist Hospital in Houston, Texas, St. Mary-Corwin Hospital and Parkview Medical Center in Pueblo. She also taught at Pueblo Community College. She especially enjoyed being a mentor to many of her fellow therapist colleagues. Memorial Service, 10:30 a.m., Thursday, July 6, 2023, at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 10 University Circle. In lieu of flowers, those who desire may make memorials to either Westminster Presbyterian Church or PAWS for Life.

Deepest Condolences to Nancy’s mom, family and friends! I worked with Nancy at Parkview, I am thankful for all that I learned from her. I also grew to love bird watching thanks to her shared pictures she brought to work. I will also remember her delicious dishes she brought for pot luck. May you Rest in heavenly Peace Nancy!
