Mildred "Mickey" Jane Stahlman

Mildred Jane Stahlman “Mickey”, 91, went home to her Lord September 16, 2025. Mickey is survived by daughter, Patricia Quillan, Pueblo; grandsons, Frederick Carley (Melissa McMath) and Donald Carley (Tabitha); and five grandchildren, Pueblo; daughter-in-law Terri Koppin Stahlman, Pueblo; sister, Jean Ledbetter, Clarion County, Pennsylvania ; and numerous nieces and nephews around the country. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lowell Campbell Stahlman; son, William Allen Stahlman; sister, Elizabeth Aaron; and parents. She grew up in Corsica, Pennsylvania and married Lowell on Jan. 20, 1951. They had two children, Patricia and William, and she became a homemaker. Mickey was an active member of Graystone Presbyterian Church in Indiana, Pennsylvania. She helped with the youth group and served as a deacon. She and Lowell served a teaching mission in Venezuela in 1967. In retirement, they moved to Pueblo, Colorado. She was active in First Presbyterian Church. She quilted the wall hangings for the sanctuary. She was a member of PEO and The Red Hatters. Mickey and Lowell remodeled several homes and built some homes in their years together. Mickey could do electrical, plumbing, construction, roofing, brickwork and whatever was needed. She was an avid quilter and crafts person. She loved doing puzzles in later years. Mickey was funny, caring, dedicated and her faith was the cornerstone of her life.
Cremation, Montgomery & Steward Crematorium. Memorial service, 2 p.m. Saturday, September 27, 2025, with the Rev. Gary Weaver officiating, at First Presbyterian Church, 220 W. 10th Street.
