Melvin Raymond Murray, 86, passed away on July 15, 2025, in Pueblo, CO.

Survived by his wife of 30 years, Madeline Murray; sister, Susan Murphy; sons, Myron (Luule) Murray and Doug (Kenra) Murray; daughters, Amy (Paige) Carlson, Cynthia (William) McIntyre and Kimberley Jones; 21 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; and a great-great grandchild.  Preceded in death by Robert “Bob” Murray.

Melvin was born November 13, 1938, in St. Paul, Minnesota. He worked for Sperry Corporation and later for the City of Pueblo.

Melvin enjoyed traveling with his wife to visit grandchildren.  He also enjoyed golf, chocolate, music, dancing and history books.

He was a member of the Pueblo Country Club and Pueblo Investment Group (PIG).

Memorial service, 10 A.M. Wednesday, July 23, 2025, in the Montgomery & Steward Funeral Chapel.

Memorials may be made to a charity of donor’s choice.
