Guestbook

  1. I’ve known Marie (Mieke) for only six short years, and considered her a good, sweet friend. I always enjoyed conversing with her in her native German, as she also did. She will be missed greatly at all of the Pueblo German American Club functions, as by everyone who knew her. Our most heartfelt condolences go out to all of her family and circle of friends.

  2. I so loved visiting with Marie and family and being a guest in her home on occasion. She was so emphatic about everything and especially about those she loved. My sincerest condolences to Evelyn, Randy and Danny and their families. May God’s comfort and peace envelop all of you as you are ensured of her current happiness.

  3. Marie Daberkow was loved by her friends at the Pueblo German American Club. My thoughts of her included being an independent, thoughtful smart-thinking woman whom loved her family and close friends. She definitely spoke her mind on any conversation you had with her. She definitely has left her mark at Trinity Lutheran Church, where I would see her on most Sundays. Her faith was strong and solid. I will miss seeing her big smile and visiting with her throughout the years.

  4. I will always remember Marie and her kind and loving life. She and Willis came to our home when they were first married and home from the war. Willis begged my folks to rent them the upstairs of our home. I can still see and smell the rhubarb sauce she cooked on the stove and what a great cook she was.

  5. Marie was the most amazing friend to my mother and she was like an aunt to me. I am sure she will be missed by so many people. Count me among them. We shared the same birthday and celebrated together on more than one occasion. I will love her forever and praise God for having known her and her family. At least now she is in heaven with Willis and Jackie and my mom and dad. God be with Evelyn, Randy, and Danny. Hugs!

  6. I remember being a new nurse when I met Marie working in the Blood bank. She could pronounce my madien name! She always had a big smile on her face.
We all know how much Marie loved the Lord and her family. Now she is a peace in heaven.

  7. I sure love that little Marie what a kind gentle and strong lady she was loved her family with all her heart blessed that I was able to care for her for 20 plus years she’s definitely in jesus’s arms and she’s also hugging Willis again

  8. Marie was such a beautiful and kind lady inside and out and I always enjoy visiting with her when I would see her. My sincere condolences and sympathy to all of her family, who I know will miss her greatly. I send my love to all.

  9. It has been a pleasure knowing this great lady. Rest in peace Mike until we meet again.
