Margaret Irene Ragsdale

Margaret Irene Ragsdale, 101, went home with her Savior April 3, 2025. Born March 5,1924, to Frank and Maude Pfeiff on their farm and ranch north of Fowler, Colo. Margaret is survived by her children, David (Sheryl) Ragsdale, Carolyn Ragsdale and Marilyn Ragsdale; grandson, Douglas (Shirley) Ragsdale; great-granddaughter, Kalisha Ragsdale; and many other family and friends. Margaret was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, Dave Ragsdale; her parents; and nine brothers and sisters. She has one surviving sister, Freda Spurlock. Margaret was a lifelong rancher’s wife and mother. Until the very end, she would get in the pickup to check the cows. She loved ranch life. She will be greatly missed by her family, but we will carry on her legacy. Viewing, 2 to 4 p.m. Wednesday, April 9, in the Montgomery & Steward Funeral Chapel, in Pueblo. Graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, April 10, 2025, in the Fowler Cemetery.
