Lynn Marie Faris, 76, passed away June 8, 2025.  Lynn and her husband, Willy, were married on Dec. 12, 1969.  Willy survives Lynn along with their sons, J.J. (Jody), Willy (Jolene) and Wes (Kallene); grandchildren, Riley, Hallie (Derek) Risoli, Melina, Breanne, Marissa, Wyatt, Jaelyn, Josey and Peyton.  Also survived by her brothers, Dick (Kathy) Decker and Tom (Bonnie) Decker.  Preceded in death by her father, Richard Decker; mother, Mary Decker; son, Joshua Hanah Faris; sister, Mary Coleman; brothers, Paul Decker and Bob Decker.  Lynn was born on April 28, 1949, in Grand Island, Nebraska.

Lynn Marie Faris was a loving and devoted friend, daughter, mother and grandmother.  She lived a life full of love, faith and had an extraordinary gift to care for those in need.  She had a deep passion for sharing the message of God’s love and salvation with others and her family.  At church, she was a beautiful lecturer and enjoyed participating in events and fundraisers.  She worked as a registered nurse and started the family business of Arc Valley Construction with her husband in 1990.  Rosary, 6 p.m. Wednesday, June 18, and Funeral Mass, 10 a.m. Thursday, June 19, both at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1145 S. Aspen Rd.  Interment, Roselawn Cemetery.  Memorials may be made to: Poor Clare Sisters Monastery, c/o Catholic Foundation Poor Clare Fund, 101 N. Greenwood St., Pueblo, CO, 81003-3164.   1. Willy and Family, I am so sorry for the loss of your beautiful wife, mother & friend.She was so inspiring, faithful, and loving! I just want you to know that I admired her very much. She did a lot for our St. Joseph Council of Catholic Women’s organization .I apologize but will not be able to make the service since we are out of town please know you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.   6. Lynn is a beautiful woman who always wore that contagious smile and was so serving to others. She was a devout Catholic and shared and lived her faith with many. I loved talking to her and she loved talking about her grandchildren! She will be missed! Prayers of comfort for Willy and the whole family!
