  3. Grandma Dissler –

It is so hard to believe that you are gone. You helped raise me, helped me grow, and helped me realize that when we face the “cracks and crevices” of life, they can ALL be repaired with love. You were always so positive, encouraging, and loved life to the fullest.

Thank you for telling me how proud of me you were, that you loved me and believed in me. You truly made my days brighter, and I looked forward to our visits. If I could have only a few more moments with you… I hope you truly know how many lives you have changed for the better.

You will continue to live in our memories, and you will always be precious to me and in my heart.
    I love you dearly…. Audra

PS – Thank you for sharing your super-duper top secret spaghetti sauce recipe. It always make me think of you and making raviolis with you.

    and Family

  5. I have had the greatest pleasure to work for a woman like you. I started working for you in 2002 and sometimes thought I would not make to 2003 but I grew to love your spirit and honesty ( even if it did sting once in a while) but as the years passed I came to think of you as a friend a woman I looked forward to seeing and talking to, I miss are talks and I miss just being able to stop by just to say hi. I know I should be happy that you are with Paul I am sure he missed you but we are selfish people and we don’t want to let are loved ones go I will think of you every time I clean a window ( and here you tell me that I don’t know how to do it ha ha) every time I get a lotto ticket or all the little things we got to share I am grateful that I got to be a part of your life if only for a little while, you will be missed forever and always your friend Kim Mender

  6. I will never forget all of the trips we would make to Walsenburg to see you. From yarn mazes in the bedrooms, to playing bunny rabbits in the garden with Brad, Jenny and Lacy, to shoot the moon at night. It was always special being around you and my memories of you will live on forever. You were always so kind to me and involved with everything I did. You would come watch me play baseball and basketball and expected a phone call after every golf tournament I played. You made the most amazing food and your patitza will forever be the best thing I have ever tasted. It’s very tough to let you go, but I know you are with Grandpa now and we have one more angel watching over us. I love you and will always miss you.

    Randy

  7. Today I woke up and enjoyed my morning coffee as I thought of my grandma Dissler. I always talk with her this time of year as I plant my garden. While picking out my flowers, tomatoes, basil and herbs I thought this will be the first time I can not call and ask her advice. I do know however she is watching me and if I make a mistake. I can hear her saying oh Lenni. I miss you and love you and know what I have learned through the years will always be with me.
Today I will plant my garden and think of you as I always do, knowing you are watching my garden this year( I better have good tomatoes!)

Grandma you were beautiful smart and feisty I love you!!!

    Lenni

  8. Grandma, we will all miss you and are so sad that you are gone. You are finally with Grandpa in heaven. Love you!
    Love,
    Alicia
