Celebration of Life:

Larry James Youngblood, 77, passed away unexpectedly on March 6, 2024, in Nashville, Tenn. He is survived by his children, Bryan Shurtz, Stacia Kilburg, Jennifer Youngblood, Sean Youngblood, and Steele Youngblood; grandchildren Madisyn Shurtz, Renee Kilburg, Jacob Kilburg, Jason Shurtz, Jaxson Kilburg, and Landon Youngblood; and great-grandchild Daniel Kilburg.

Larry was born on November 14, 1946, in Pueblo, Colo. He worked for the BNSF Railroad as an Assistant Trainmaster and Conductor for many years. Larry was a Central High School graduate class of 1964. He enjoyed many different hobbies including riding his Harley, camping in Lake City, driving his side-by-side, gambling in Las Vegas, and spending summer days on his boat at the Pueblo Reservoir. Larry loved old John Wayne movies but didn’t waste much of his day watching TV if he could help it. He hated bad weather days because it kept him inside. Larry will be deeply missed by the many people who were fortunate enough to know him.
