  4. I will always remember my Uncle/Godfather Bennie smiling. I will always remember him being happy and a positive person in my life.

  5. I first met Ben 54 years ago when Herma was the Fiesta Day queen coordinator. I was immediately welcomed into their home. I attended various family functions and gatherings.Ben and Herma were witnesses at my wedding and later became Godparents to my eldest son. Ben was a sweet and caring person and will be missed by all. Love to you, Compadre and may you rest in peace.

  6. Uncle Bennie at the young age of 23 became the father figure to an 8 year old girl when he married my Aunt Herma. He was an important part of all the events of my life. He taught me how to dance because he went to Arthur Murray School of Dance, that’s why he was such a good dancer. Everybody loved Uncle Bennie, he was such a good man and will truly be missed.

  7. My compadre Ben was my mentor in life..he was the man I had to meet to ask him for my wife edo’s hand in marriage. I was petrified to meet him…it was the best life event that ever happened to me..We became the best of friends..I emulated his way of being and followed all his good advice…I joined the reserves with him,we bowled for over 40 years in same team, we golfed, fished and belong to the same civic organizations. He was my shining light in life and I will forever miss him dearly.

  8. We will miss you greatly, Jose. Thank you for welcoming me into your family all those years ago when I married your daughter Marchell. I’ve always considered you my Dad. We will miss you greatly but will remember you fondly.
