John 'Jack' Walter Forester, 80, passed away on September 11, 2008. Survived by his daughters, Dinah Torrence and Christine (Douglas) Wobst; grandchildren, Patrick, Erin (Larry), Michael, Sally, Will and Caitlin; great-grandchildren, Brennan, Cierra and Cody. John is preceded in death by his wife, Shirley A. Forester; brother, Maurice, and his son, Kurt. He was born in Adair County, Iowa on September 2, 1928, to Maurice and Dorothy Forester. John worked as an inspector for the C. F. & I. As per John's request, there will be no viewing. Cremation, Montgomery & Steward Crematorium. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, September 20, 2008, in the Montgomery & Steward Chapel with the Rev. Dr. Rick Calhoun officiating.
