John Catalano, 86, passed away on February 10, 2026. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Nancy; children, Gina Catalano, and John (Anna) Catalano; grandchildren, Santino Pusedu, Russell Agnes, and Primo Catalano.
Preceded in death by his parents; and nine brothers and sisters.
John was born to Elizabeth and Francesco Catalano on May 26, 1939, in Pueblo, Colorado. He worked for Colorado Senator Peter H. Dominick and then worked and retired from the Pueblo Army Depot. After retiring, John became a teacher with District 60 until he retired for a second time.
John enjoyed traveling with Nancy to Las Vegas and Laughlin. He belonged to S.O.A.R. (Steelworkers Organization of Active Retirees), BPO Elks Lodge #90, and was a 4th Degree Knights of Columbus.
Viewing, 5 to 7 p.m. February 18, 2026, and funeral service, 1 p.m. Thursday, February 19, 2026, both in the Montgomery & Steward Funeral Chapel. Interment, Roselawn Cemetery.
