John L. 'Mac' McBeth, 67, passed away November 20, 2002. Survived by his wife, Evelyn Kay McBeth of the family home; children, Marty McBeth, Pueblo, Rita McBeth, Rye, Mike McBeth, Pueblo, Lisa Richards, Brighton, Colo., and Cheryl McBeth, Tucson, Ariz; sisters, Arvilla (Dale) Lukassen, Boone and Beulah (Arthur) Booker, Pueblo; sister-in-law, Marge McBeth, West Fargo, N. Dakota; 4 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Rena McBeth; siblings, Joseph E. McBeth, Margaret Masteller, Walter McBeth, Ida Bitner and James McBeth. Mac was born August 5, 1935, in Elkater, Kansas and married Evelyn Kay Carlson on April 16, 1955, in Grenora, North Dakota. He retired from the 40' Mill at C.F.&I. Mac loved hunting and fishing. He will lie in state at the funeral home today from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. Funeral service, 1 p.m. Saturday in the Montgomery & Steward Chapel. Memorials may be made to Sangre de Cristo Hospice through the funeral home.
