Pueblo, Colorado
A beautiful girl with a gorgeous smile, Jennifer Marie Snyder, sought to live her every moment fully, writing often of her search for more — more love, more adventure, and deeper connections. She loved shopping and pampering time with her mom, who called Jenn her “little alpaca,” and rock & roll concerts with “Pops.” She was sweet, fun, caring, and outgoing, with many friends. She loved her parents, her family, and her friends, guided by a simple phrase she repeated often: Be kind, always.
Jennifer was born in Pueblo, CO on Oct. 19, 1995. Growing up, she excelled at martial arts and dance, and participated enthusiastically in Colorado’s pageant community, including being a member of the Miss Pueblo County honorary court in 2010. She attended Pueblo West High School, where she spent two years with the Cyclones Dance Team (including one year as co-captain), graduating in 2014. She studied at Colorado State University in Pueblo, and later at Paul Mitchell The School in Colorado Springs, completing programs in hairstyling, cosmetology, and barbering in 2018. There, Jennifer found a place that brought her natural talents and learned skills together. “All I have ever wanted in my life is a career where I can be around people,” she shared on social media. “I love, more than anything, to see the smile of someone who is struggling. That’s why I do what I do. I love people. I love what I do.”
Jennifer passed away on Jan. 11, 2023, at the age of 27. Missing her deeply are her parents, Jim and Christine Snyder; uncles, Jeff (Kim) Snyder, Neal (Marguerite) Fleming and Bruce (Karyn Kubo) Fleming; aunts, Mary Lasseter and Sarah (Dean) Siegrist; grandmother, Mariam J. Fleming; and five cousins. Preceded in death by grandfathers, Wayne K. Snyder and Leslie W. Fleming; grandmother, Joyce Snyder; and aunt, Janet L. Snyder.

Can’t believe we grew up together as kids and yet another beautiful Angel gone too soon. Gonna miss you and our phone calls. Wish I would have taken the opportunity to have that lunch with you like we planned that day. You were the biggest sweetheart God gave me! Your laughter was the best medicine and I will miss seeing your smile and hearing your voice

Jenn – We met when I returned your lost kitty Bella to you and had many phone conversations afterwards. I barely had time to get to know you but I know that this world lost a sweet caring angel. I will miss you. You were like one of my own children. Love you always.
