Jean M. Comiskey, 97, passed away June 21, 2023. Survived by her sons, Patrick (Heaven) Comiskey, Timothy (Lori) Comiskey and James (Toni) Comiskey; daughter-in-law, Dana Comiskey; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband, James; daughter, Margaret “Peggi” Comiskey; son, John David Comiskey; granddaughters, Mary and Amy Comiskey.
Jean was born May 16, 1926, in Eau Claire, Wis. to Lloyd and Margaret Michaud. She was a labor and delivery RN at St. Mary Corwin Hospital. She enjoyed tennis, words with friends and the Colorado Rockies.

Aunt Jean helped my older sister Bridgid enter the world a bit early in 1950. Bridgid’s full name is Bridgid Jean in her honor. My dad would tell stories about growing up on the farm and I have a feeling he and Jean were fellows in crime. My thoughts go out to the Comiskey family. There are lots of stories on Jean, Jimmy and family. Rest in Peace.
Aunt Jean was my father’s younger sister, followed by 3 more children. I’ve known her my entire life, heard stories about her all my life. She was a force of nature with a heart of gold. My saddest condolences to all my Comiskey cousins. From one from Wisconsin.
Jean worked with my mom, Katherine Whittemore, at SMC hospital on Labor and Delivery. RIP sweet lady.
