James Nicholas Pruce, 81, entered eternal life on June 7th 2025. James was preceded in death by his parents, Nicholas and Sophie Pruce and the love of his life, his wife of 43 years, Sandra Kaye Pruce. James is survived by his sons, Adam (Tonia) Pruce and Nathan (Jennifer) Pruce and his pride and joy, his grandson, Wyatt Pruce. James is also survived by his sisters, Mary Hanneman and Patricia (Lawrence) Schoenwald; brother, George (Sandy) Pruce; and numerous nieces and nephews. James was a devoted Husband, Father, Grandfather. James devoted his entire life to his family, working tirelessly to provide and give us all the best lives we could have. He will be sorely missed and never forgotten. We Love you, Dad.
James was a dedicated, City of Pueblo firefighter for nearly 32 years. He owned and operated Pueblo Ornamental Iron and his works are displayed across Pueblo, Colorado. Although all of his work was custom, the arch over the entry way to Mineral Palace Park, was an ornate piece that took many hours to plan, assemble and place.
James was an avid pool player and played on many local teams and also competed nationally in several tournaments.
There will be no viewing. Cremation, Montgomery & Steward Crematorium. Memorial Mass, 10 a.m. Saturday, June 28th 2025, at the Shrine of St. Therese, 300 Goodnight Ave. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Shrine of St Therese. Online condolences, www.MontgomerySteward.com
