  1. I met Jim when our wives were each giving birth to one of our children. I lost Deb back in December 1997 & have since remarried Cheri, my wife of 22.5 years & moved to Montana. My deepest condolences to you Kaylene & to your children & grandchildren. May God wrap you in His arms of comfort during this time & into the future. Our prayers are with you.
    Dan & Cheri Woods

  2. My sweet and kind friend: I remember when you first started dating Jim. Must of been 1977? Or around that. You had that apartment in the Corwin area. I use to visit you there. I remember when Kaylene, “party girl” said she met someone and he was a cop! My eyes opened wide and I thought, “Are you crazy Kaylene?” But I said, “ Oh, do you like him?” That’s how I remember it. Lol. You said, “should I keep seeing him? What if something happens? He is in such a dangerous field.” You married him anyway. You were always happy before you met Jim. After, you glowed, girl. What magic you two wove together. The magic will continue, with you, your family and the tribe you built. (Wow, you know a lot of folks!) Love you, Kaylene!

  3. No words for your loss Kaylene my sweet cousin, Don and I are so sorry to hear of your loss and praying for you and all of your family. Hugs!

  4. Jim was one of the first person’s I met when I started with the county. He was and always will be one of my people. The world was a far better place with Jim in it. I will miss his laugh and smile. Rest in Peace Old Friend.

  5. I was shocked when I heard of the passing of James Concialdi. It was not so long ago when I talked with him and shook his hand at another funeral. I did not work directly with him at work but I remember what a nice person he was. I remember working with him when I was a usher for a short time at St. Pius X Church. Just one of the most friendly and nicest people.

May you rest in peace James.

  6. Kaylene, Lissa, Nick and Michael we are so sorry for your loss. Jim was a great Man and I always admired his and Kaylene’s dedication to their faith, sitting in the 2nd pew at mass or Jim singing in the choir. We shared many retirement board conference trips together and made a lot of memories which we will always treasure. Rest In Peace JIM. Del and Joyce Olivas

  7. Jim was a wonderful devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend. He was so much fun to be around. I have lots of good memories of the times Steve and I and Kaylene and Jim were together. There was always lots of laughter. RIP Jim. Kaylene, this will be a difficult time. Take care of you. I’m always there for you

  8. My sincere condolences to the Concialdi family. Having delivered mail to Jim for 13+ years, I came to know him as a man of great character who loved his family deeply. I was shocked and deeply saddened to hear of his passing. Kaylene, you and your family remain in my thoughts and prayers. A donation has been made in his name to the Pueblo Community Soup Kitchen. RIP, Jim. You will be greatly missed.

  9. Jim is such an awesome person and wonderful to be around as he would always check on things and have great conversations. I am truly honored to know him and to have been apart of the Southeastern Colorado Law Enforcement Association with him for many years. Our thoughts and prayers go out to you all and I will truly miss him!

  10. Our family will be doing a Rosary for Jim and his family. Jim was my cousin and Helen and Sam were my beloved Godparents. Our yearly visits, through the 1960s and 1970s to the Concialdi home in my youth were always memorable. The kindness, joy and love of God and family were just so natural in that home. I always looked forward to the new jokes we would hear from Uncle Sam and Jimmy, and especially the pizzas (or sometimes spaghetti) Aunt Helen would create upon our arrival. Jim was four years older than I but was always willing to give his young cousins his time. When I became a teenager and Jim had moved out, my Godmother passed on a number of Jim’s board games to me — which I played and treasured. It is sad how cousins often lose track of each other and the distance from Pueblo to Minnesota allowed that to happen. From all accounts Jimmy Michael will be received with “Well done, good and faithful servant!”

  11. Our hearts are aching with this unexpected news for Kaylene and her family. Jim was a wonderful husband, dad and grandpa. He had a great sense of humor that we will always remember along with being a sincere and special guy. Although we didn’t see each other but every few years he held a special place in our hearts. We are sad that he is gone and want the family to accept our deepest condolences and prayers. 🙏 Love to Kaylene and her family. ❤

  12. Our thoughts and prayers to the family. Jim was a colleague and a friend. We spent many years together at the PCSO with Jim being an outstanding member of the department and community. Jim was an incredible friend and mentor. I will always remember the times together. Rest in peace and thank you for your many years of service. See you again one day!

  13. Morris Hanley and Keathe Singleton

Rest in peace my dear friend I will miss you and never forget you, I hold your friendship close to my heart. I will always remember our great times at Roncalli and after. May you sit at the right hand of God and when it is my time to go, I only hope that you will be there to show me the way!

  14. Kaylene and family. Jim was such a kind and honorable man. As everyone knows, he loved Jesus and our dear Blessed Mary, Queen of Heaven. Jim was a gentleman, always helping others. After our last gathering in the Activity Center at St.PiusX, Laura Jones and I had to walk around the building to our cars. No lights, it was very dark. Jim would not let us walk alone, he insisted on walking with us to ensure we got safely to our vehicles. Jim was respected by everyone. Prayers for you Kaylene and your family that God holds you close as you begin this journey.

  15. I’m devastated for Jim’s passing, Jim was the man everyone respected! Jim was devoted to his family and his job, and he respected all of us! Prayers to the family 🙏🙏🙏❤️

  16. So sorry to hear about the passing of Jim. He was a great guy and we always enjoyed his company when we all worked together at the sheriff’s department. Our thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family. Jim will be sorely missed by all who knew him.
Pete Juba and Susie (Oreskey) Juba

  17. Jim was a great guy. I’m very sad to hear of his passing. I used to ride along with him on patrol before I joined the Sheriff’s Reserve, and he was one of my first training officers after joining. He had a great influence on my career. He will be sadly missed. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

  18. I am so very sadden to hear of the loss of my cousin, Jim. He was a great man and I have very fond memories of him growing up. He will truly be missed. You all are deeply in my thoughts and prayers.

  19. I knew James since we were kids in grade school at St Francis. He was always so kind, respectful, and loyal to his family, friends, and to the community of Pueblo. James made people feel safe around him. He was a great guy. I am so very sad that he is gone. Lots of people are going to miss you.

  20. I knew Jim’s parents Sam and Helen many years ago at St. Francis Church. When I met Jim at St. Pius Church, he had the humor from his father and the musical skills from his mother. He reminded me so much of his parents; however, Jim was his own person. I could not have asked for a more dedicated musical minister. He was always prepared, intelligent and courageous to try new things. He was instrumental in assisting with the development of the Audio/Video ministry at St. Pius. I recall seeing him with a big smile at the “adult drinks” table for the spaghetti dinners and being very hospitable to everyone he encountered. He was willing to help whoever, whenever and wherever he was was needed. Earth has lost a wonderful human being and heaven has gained a beautiful angel! Perhaps St. Peter needed some humor and Jim is there to take care of St. Peter’s need. I’m sure Jim is doing a great job! It has been a blessing and honor to know Jim Concialdi and we will have many wonderful memories of him to get us through the tough times. Our prayers and thoughts go out to Kaylene, Lissa, Mike, Nick and all the grandchildren. We are better off today because of Jim. RIP…..

  21. Jim was a faithful man to his family and friends. I will forever remember our laughs and conversations we had over the years. To my dear friend, Kaylene… may God wrap you in his loving arms through the difficult days ahead. Love you.

    My condolences,

    Patty Concialdi

  22. Jim was my first supervisor at the Sheriff’s office. He used his great sense of humor in relating the realities and the responsibilities and obstacles of the job. He was always easy to relate to and had a kindness about him. I respected him and genuinely liked him as a person. The world has been lessened by his passing. My prayers are with his family at this time.

  23. Jim was a great man who was forever faithful to his family and friends. I’ll forever remember our conversations and laughs together. God bless his family and to my dear and forever friend, Kaylene. May God keep you close in all the difficult days ahead. Sending Love and prayers to all of you.

    My condolences,

    Patty Concialdi

  25. Kaylene, Lissa, Mike and Nik— my thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult. I remember Jim– and the whole family– fondly in my time at St. Pius. Jim was supportive with a keen sense of humor. Although it has been awhile since I worked at St. Pius, Jim holds a special place in my history.

  26. This is Dan Corsentino, first my sincere condolences on Jim’s passing. I am shocked. I always had the deepest respect for Jim as a professional, family man, and devoted to his Catholic faith. We always agreed to disagree, but in the end any decisions that we made were always pre decided by the man upstairs!!! Please reach out if you need anything!

  27. Jim welcomed me to St Pius when I first began to play there. He was a wonderful singer and choir member. He and my husband would sit on the back row and cause a lil trouble during rehearsals. He also had a great sense of humor and would tell me the last way ‘terrible’ joke he had heard. Rest in peace, my friend.

  28. Jim was a great guy. His humor was his greatest gift. May God rest his soul. Karla & I send our condolences to the families of. RIP JC
