It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Harry Vernon Roe, Jr. 79 of
Pueblo Colorado, who left us peacefully on February 14, 2026.
Harry leaves behind a legacy of humor, honesty, generosity, and unmistakable personality
that will not soon be forgotten.
Harry was known for his quick wit and sharp comebacks. He was never shy about
speaking his mind, offering his opinions freely and without apology. Harry had a way of
“telling it like it was” that somehow made everyone laugh.
Beneath the humor was one of the most giving men you could meet. Harry loved creating
crafts—pictures, ornaments, jewelry, and small treasures—and proudly shared them with
others.
Harry loved the Denver Broncos, Elvis, tending to his saltwater fish tank as well as his
garden. His favorite holidays were Christmas and Halloween as he loved giving gifts and
dressing up in Halloween costumes while attending the holiday parties at PDI. Known to
many as “Handsome Harry,” he greeted people with a big smile and an even bigger “HI!”
His presence filled a room.
Harry is deeply missed by friends, family, and the PDI community. His laughter, bold
honesty, generosity, and spirit will live on in the countless stories shared about him. He
will never be forgotten.
