Gladys M. Hunter made her transition on August 11, 2001, peacefully and with dignity at home with her immediate family at her side. Gladys was born in Brisbane, Australia. She is survived by her devoted children, John A. (Susan) Hunter and Sandra (Edward Moya) Hunter, all of Pueblo; grandchildren, Casey Hunter, Adam Hunter and Jillian Charlifue; sisters-in-law, Ronnie Harrower of Brisbane, Australia and Virginia McKee of Albuquerque, New Mexico; special friends, Phyllis Hughes and Alice May Lewis; numerous nieces and nephews in the U.S. and Australia. Preceded in death by her husband, John A. Hunter; parents, David and Eva Harrower; brothers, Doug and Alan; and special friend, Cecil Burchett. John and Sandy give their heartfelt gratitude to Terri Rossi and numerous other friends who offered their prayers, support, and compassion during this difficult time for Gladys' family. Special thanks to the nurses of Parkview NICU for their care of this lovely lady. Private services will be held. Those who desire may make memorials to the Salvation Army or charity of donor's choice, through the funeral home.
