Fred H. Hayashida, 79, of Pueblo West, Colo., passed away Oct. 27, 2007. Survived by his wife, Mary; sons, Fred Jr. and Jeffrey (Dawn); 6 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren. Fred was born April 21, 1928, in Henderson, Colo. and served in the U.S. Army. He was a hard working farmer. There will be no viewing. Cremation, Montgomery & Steward Crematorium. Memorial service, 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 1, 2007, in the Montgomery & Steward Chapel with Pastor Mark Apodaca officiating.
