Frances M. White, 92, passed away on Nov. 14, 2022, at her home. She is survived by her children, Kathy (Joe) Cortese, Bob (Tina) White, Rick (Paula) White, and Ken White; grandchildren, Chris (Payton) Cortese, Brodie (Miranda) White, Jodi White, Cody White, Chad (Jess) White, Justin (Julia) White, Brad (Anna) White, Lynnette ( Danny) Calkins, and Leah Shaffer; special nephews, Larry and Gary Strubel; and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Mom especially adored the twins, Madelyn and Allison, they were the love of her life.
Preceded in death by her loving husband, Charles White; her parents, Frank and Mary (Hochevar) Strubel of Canon City, Colo.
Frances was the last of her family of six brothers and three sisters. Frances enjoyed her gambling of football pools, lottery tickets, and going to Cripple Creek. She enjoyed making cookies every Wednesday, only to give them to all of us. She also loved cooking and baking for the family, especially during the holidays.
Special thanks to her caregivers, Ann, Joseph, Fran, Rayna, and Sangre de Cristo Hospice for their loving and thoughtful care. Mom, you will be missed, and we love you.
Viewing, one hour prior to service. Funeral Mass, 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 21, 2022, at Shrine of St. Therese, 300 Goodnight. Interment, Imperial Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at 126 Fordham Circle. Online condolences at www.montgomerysteward.com

To Bob and Rick i so very sorry to hear about your mother she was a great lady who made the best pineapple cookies!! I will treasure the conversations with her at Kings …she was loved by all of us employees! So sorry for your loss. I bowled with Frances on Thursday nights. She was a wonderful person and would always bring us some of her wonderful bakery items. She will be missed.
