Erin Sue “Suze” Christie, 77, passed away Sept. 4, 2025. Survived by her husband, Jerry Christie; son, Justin Southerland; grandson, Mason Southerland; daughter-in-law, Mellisa Squire; nieces, and extended family and friends.
Preceded in death by her mother, Lois Golden; and sons, Jimmy Roberts and Jason Southerland. Erin was born May 18, 1948, in La Junta, Colo. She retired from Nortrac (ABC Rail). She enjoyed cooking, movies, reading, music, and travel, and was a member of the Cherokee Nation.
Memorial service, 2 p.m. Monday, Sept. 15, 2025, at Mountain View Cemetery Chapel Mausoleum. Inurnment, Mountain View Cemetery Columbarium. Memorials may be made to Dorcy Cancer Center, 2004 Lake Ave., Pueblo, CO 81004. Online Condolences at www.montgomerysteward.com

So sorry to read of Erin’s passing, Jerry.
I am going to miss you… I remember you giving me your 33 and 45 records, Does your chewing gum lose its flavor lol.. watching you cheer. Riding around when you got your driving license, going to the A & W, sitting on your bed and you telling me that I was going to be your sister..Don’t know why that fell through? Rest in the arms of our sweet Jesus my dear cousin
