She is survived by nephew, Robert (Karen) Stanko, Highlands Ranch, Colorado; great nephew, Jason Stanko, Roxborough, Colorado; nephew, Riccardo (Andrea) Tresso; great nephews, Nicolas, William and Thomas Tresso, Tucson, Arizona; sister-in-law, Kathleen Tresso, Pueblo, Colorado; dear friends, Jimmie and Gerry, Marlene, Mariette, Margaret, Tina, Pam, Rose, Phyllis, Fr. After retirement from the hospital in 1986, she worked in clinic with Dr. James McBurney and then Dr. Brett Hulet. Throughout her life, Elsie cared for her parents, her sister and brother-in-law, and her brother. Elsie was loved not only by her family and friends but by those she worked with at the hospitals and doctors’ clinics. She was involved in all of parish life at Holy Family Catholic Church serving as Sacristan, Eucharistic Minister and helping with the care of the altar linens. Elsie was a devout catholic, attended daily Mass after retirement, said daily prayers and the rosary. After she was homebound, she faithfully watched Sunday Mass and other televised religious services. She loved football, praying, reading and the Price is Right and one soap opera. Elsie was the ever faithful daughter, sister, sister-in-law, aunt, great aunt and friend. She was kind, loving, generous, patient and was devoted to God, her Lord and Savior. Our heartfelt thanks and appreciation for the care provided to Elsie by Sangre de Cristo Hospice and home health care provided by Cyndra, Grace and Sophia. Elsie will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Donations can be made to Sangre de Cristo Hospice in memory of Elsie. Private graveside service.
