Elmer was born in Prague, Oklahoma on December 20th, 1943. He graduated and entered into the United States Air Force where he served for a total of four years. Elmer then went on to start his own heating and air business and later worked for the State of Colorado.
Elmer was a loving father, loving husband, and a testament to the American dream. He lived his life to honor and support the family he so loved. When Elmer became a grandfather, he loved each and every one of his grandchildren and spent most of his later years dedicated to the family he so loved.
Elmer was a man who could fix anything; in fact, there wasn’t a mechanical system he couldn’t figure out. After retiring, he indulged himself in intricate woodwork and other hobbies that he shared with his loved ones; In fact, Elmer was well known for gifting works of “wood art” to his grandchildren in his later years.
Elmer was a loving husband. A dedicated father. A loving grandfather, and a jokester that enjoyed poking fun and making jokes whenever he had the opportunity.
We will never forget the impact that Elmer made in this small world of ours – He will be greatly missed.
