Kay was such a kind and genuine lady. I had the privilege to be Jason and Taffy’s teacher at Morton. Kay was my sons Cub Scout Leader and Jason went to school at Centennial with my boys. So beautiful inside and out such a kind and giving person.
Prayers for her beautiful family I was blessed to have known her.
Even though it has been years since we worked together, I considered Kay a friend and sister in God’s family. Her and I worked together at Stoehr Cleaners and then again at St Mary Corwin in the laundry department. Our 4 kids went to Centennial together. Got to say my memories of her are fond ones. RIP Kay, you deserve all of God’s promises.
Peace and love sent to your family. May you be surrounded by beautiful memories of Kay. Another bright star in the sky was added on Christmas.
Kay is the oldest Bendall granddaughter and all the girl cousins looked up to her. So many great memories of summers at Grandma Bendall’s house in Castle Gate. I remember her making Barbie doll clothes for us.
When my husband and I lived in Nauvoo, Illinois, Kay brought her mom and daughter for a visit to see the church historical sites. When she left, she bought us a special book for a thank you. She was always thinking of others.
I’m so sorry to hear of Kay’s passing. I knew her from Pueblo West Elementary, first because my kids went to school there and then when I began subbing there. Kay always had a smile on her face. I know she will he missed by so many people. May she rest in peace.
Duane and family, I am so sorry to hear about Kay. She’s such a beautiful and wonderful woman. She was so fun to be around when I would go to her stamp club. Think about her often. I will miss her and her contagious laugh. May she rest in peace.

My aunt Kay was the highlight of my summers as a kid and as a teenager. Spending those 2 precious months ever year with my cousins and brother helped shape my life today. Aunt Kay treated me like her own flesh and blood, maybe sometimes better. I’m glad for those summers getting to know a true disciple of Christ. I’m glad my children got the chance to make cookies with her and enjoy her spirit of love and compassion. I will always be thankful for my auntie Kay, uncle Duane and of course my best friends growing up Taffi and Jason, for treating me like one of the family.
Love you guys
Kay and I were classmates from Freed jh thru graduation from Centennial hs. We had classes together but memory was sharing BAND class. We were great friends. She was lovely and my prayers go out to Duane and family. Sincerely Sandy Allen (Johnson Betts)
I can’t remember a time Kay wasn’t My friend. I am a very lucky person to have lived next door to the Smith family the Marshall’s lived behind. What great Friends to grow up with. Kay was ready to help if possible. We made time at Christmas to get together. We are going to miss her so much.

I had the pleasure of working with Kay at Pueblo West Elementary. She was a gifted educator who was loved by all.
Kay was my brother’s wife, I truly admired her. A true blessing in our lives, she will be so greatly missed.
I will always remember being at her house playing Where in the World is Carmen SanDiego and she would always be in the Kitchen, cooking or baking something. She also started a tradition of getting me my favorite pumpkin candies every year for my birthday in October. You will be greatly missed, Thank you for giving me a warm welcome always and for my best friend Taffi, I Love You.
A truly great woman!
