Donald Lawrence Jones

Donald “Don” L. Jones, 86, passed away on Aug. 21, 2024. He is survived by his sister-in-law, Pauline Jones; nieces, Carol (Doug) Adkins and Sharon Jones; nephew, Larry (Anne) Jones; and their children. Don’s life was quite varied as to marriage, location, and occupation but his vocation was as a poet. His books are Medical Aid and Other Poems (U of Nebraska Press) and Miss Liberty, Meet Crazy Horse! (Swallow/Ohio U Press). Many of his poems have been reprinted nationwide in textbooks and anthologies.
