Dixie and family
We’re so sorry to hear about Don but know he is in a better place. We love you and are praying for your peace. We would love to be there but sadly health prevents it. May God comfort you through this time.
You were the first friend I found at Vineland Methodist. You and Dixie were so good to me and I will miss you so much but I know you were looking forward to heaven and I know you are already enjoying your place there with family and past friends. God is watching you and all of us. It is difficult to say goodbye and no matter how many times we have said goodbye to a loved one it never gets easier…… For you I find it easier because your faith was so strong. Goodbye my friend see you someday.
Oh Dixie, we were so sorry to hear of Don’s passing and want you and the family to know we are praying for you at this difficult time. We have such wonderful memories of the times we shared in worship and praise, when things were good, at Pleasant View here in Pueblo. Your family was a bright spot in our music ministry there, in worship, fellowship meals and vacation bible school including revivals. We know Don is now with The Savior and enjoying all that Heaven holds. Perhaps one of the first to greet him was our son Patric, who died in 2017. We know first hand how God’s Peace can surround you in this grieving process, with the knowledge that we will see our loved ones again. Love and Prayers, Mannon, Sandy, Tobi (and Patric) Lukehart.
Please accept my sincere condolences for your loss.
May the peace of God that surpasses all understanding guard your hearts and your mental powers by means of Christ Jesus.” (Phil. 4:7) May the hope of a resurrection right here on a restored earth bring you comfort. (John 5:28, 29) Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice 29 and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life) Psalm 37:11, 29) But the meek will possess the earth, And they will find exquisite delight in the abundance of peace. The righteous will possess the earth, And they will live forever on it.
My deepest sympathy
Sending my sympathy and love to you, Dixie, and to the family.
With many fond memories,
Brenda (Custard) Delaney, Laramie, Wyoming
