Dr. Luebke was so very kind to me and was an amazing surgeon. I am incredibly sad to read of his passing. What a tremendous man, and such a loss to this community. May cherished memories bring you peace in the upcoming days.
Where do I begin? I first met Dr. Luebke as a student as the Pueblo Surgery Center. I was honored to have been offered a job at his medical practice. I began working with him in 2007-2012. Those 5 years were amazing in many ways and those 5 working years in his office defined who I am today in my working career. Endless knowledge obtained. The love for his wife Teresa, 4 sons and grand-kids. The amazing stories he shared about family, life, education, traveling, books and history were endless. I loved lunch time with Diane, Donna, Teresa and Dr. Luebke. It became my working family. Dr. Donald C. Luebke, you will be missed! May the perpetual light shine upon your soul. Prayers to you Teresa and your family. He made a difference in the medical community and his legacy will be cherished for decades to come.
Teresa, David, Stephen, Chris & Paul,
I was so saddened to read about your husband & father’s passing. I remember his great influence with you boys & your friends in your formative years. What a great Dad & husband with that great smile. Thinking & praying for you during this time of loss. Donna Raymond
Our best to you Theresa, and to your family. A surprise sadness. Maybe see you at your celebration on the 30th.
He was brilliant. My prayers are with his family and the Pueblo community.
We would like to extend our deepest condolences. Don was a talented and dedicated surgeon, but above that a wonderful man, husband, father, grandfather and employer. He will be missed. I will always have fond memories of him.
Dr. Fixed two separate Baseball injuries to my face. He made a tough situation seem simple. He had a gift.
Our hearts are saddened by Don’s passing. We have lost a dear friend and a most caring, talented and dedicated physician. Don was such an interesting, intelligent and friendly person who made everyone feel comfortable in his presence. Don made his impact on us and our community; he will be missed.
Love,
Carole and Larry Walls
He was a great person and a great doctor. I will never forget him.
