Diane was born March 4, 1939, in Pueblo, Colo. She graduated from Centennial High School in 1957 where she participated in several clubs and activities such as, Secretary of Student Council and Vice President of the Altiora Club. Diane was voted “Most Beautiful” her senior year at Centennial High School. She went on to study some college classes and chose to start her family soon after. She was married for over 50 years to her sweetheart, William and went on to have four beautiful children, three grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Diane worked at Furr’s Cafeteria for many years and enjoyed serving the wonderful folks in her community. She also worked other jobs in addition to volunteering at Church in the nursery as she absolutely loved children. In addition to being a proud homemaker, Diane had many hobbies but none more important than her family and friends. When her little Brother Scott was married and started his family, Diane would babysit for the family. She adored her niece and nephews. Diane loved to laugh, watch movies and listen to music. She was so proud of her Grandson Dustin and all of his accomplishments in the football program at East High School where he won several championships. Diane enjoyed spending time with family, taking long drives and holidays with loved ones. She will be greatly missed, always loved and cherished dearly. Until we meet again.

My mom and dad both graduated with Diane, she would often walk over when they lived on Jerry Murphy for a visit and coffee.
RIP Diane.

Blessings and love,

Craig, Ron, Lisa and Brent, and the families of Mrs. Borton,
We are so sorry for your loss. Your mother was a wonderful person. Our mother Pearl loved Mrs. Borton with the bond mothers make as the parents of childhood friends; each look-out for and pray for each other’s children. We as the children of those two women, of course loved those two beautiful women. We enjoyed both your mother and father, and you children and grandchildren, are their message of kindness that they send into the future. God Bless you all in the days, the months and the years to come.

Diane was a very nice lady and good neighbor to my family when we moved to Pueblo so many years ago. My deepest condolences to the family.
