Detective Gregory P. Drake, 50, passed away unexpectedly on April 14, 2019. Survived by wife, Elizabeth; children, Jonathan, Izabel, and Seamus; grandchildren, Colin and Lucy; brother, Dan (Jenn); mother, Irene (Keith) Shumake; uncle, Jim Sharp; and cousins, Kristi (Scott) Kleven and Kiarra Kleven. Preceded in death by father, Vern Drake; aunt, Vickie Sharp; and Layla Drake. Greg lived in Pueblo most of his life. He was a beloved detective at Pueblo County Sheriff's Office. His love of family, music, and motorcycles was immeasurable. I was so sorry to hear of Greg’s passing. When I was with the ACOVA program, I always felt safe when he was around, always knew he would do the right thing. My heart goes out to all of you.
