David Wright, 61, passed away on July 6, 2024. Survived by his wife, Karen Wright; son, Rondel Wright; daughter, Taylor Wright; mother, Ann Wright; sister, Gina Anderson; niece, Alesha Henderson; nephews, Daniel Sims and Steve Anderson; great-nieces, Sierra Henderson, Kylee Sims, Lacey Anderson, Kyra Anderson; great-nephews, Colton Sims and Damien Anderson; and a host of great-great nieces and nephews, and cousins.

Preceded in death by his father, Dan Wright. David was born Nov. 5, 1962, in Rayville, La., and worked as a derrickhand and maintenance technician throughout New Mexico, Texas, and Colorado. David enjoyed visiting with family and friends, telling stories, watching football, listening to music, cooking, gardening, and sitting on the porch with Karen and the dogs.
