Born in: Pueblo, Colorado
Resided in: Pueblo, Colorado

Celebration for the life of David M. Jackson, a husband, father, grandfather, and friend who left us too soon on October 15, 2025, at the age of 75.

David was born on March 14, 1950, in Pueblo, Colorado, at St. Mary Corwin Hospital, where his roots in this community began.

He was a dentist, investor, and land manager. David quickly dove into several passions always leaving behind something great. He continued the spirit of generosity established by his late father. David was a man who found joy in the outdoors-whether he was working with his hands in fixing or building his latest project, tracking game while hunting, or simply enjoying the fresh air and natural beauty around him.

David was preceded in death by his parents, Robert (Bob) and Nancy Jackson, who instilled in him the values that would guide his life. He is survived by his wife, Mary Lou Jackson, and his three sons: Robert, Patrick, and Stephen, as well as six grandchildren. Through them, his legacy of love and generosity continues.

While we mourn his passing, we also celebrate the life he lived. David’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him, in his caring actions, and in the way he brought levity to life.
David, you will be deeply missed. May you rest in peace.

Guestbook

  1. CandleImageWe had the privilege of knowing Dave, Mary Lou, their sons, and Dave’s parents Bob and Nancy Jackson for over forty years. Like his father, Dave was a dynamic, kind, patient person who treated everyone like a friend, and showed explempary generosity. Despite health issues in recent years, Dave always maintained a positive determination to adapt to difficulties with dignity and perseverence. We’re honored that he would consider us friends of his, and will miss him greatly. Mike and Wendy Rendler

  2. CandleImageOur sincere condolences to the Jackson Family from the Pueblo Zoo. David and the Jackson Family have lifted up the Pueblo community in significant ways over the years. We now lift you up in your time of grief.

  3. My condolences to the Jackson family.
Thank you for all you have done to help the less fortunate in our community by supporting the Cooperative Care Center. You have our love and prayers.

  4. We were terribly sorry to hear this sad news. Your family and my family have been so connected over the years, for as long as I can remember. Bob and Nan felt like my other parents. Please know that we will all be holding you in our thoughts and prayers. Much love, Georgi and Rich Lipich (and family)

  5. CandleImagel met David just once in his Dad’s office about 25 years ago. His father was a friend to me even in my darkest hour.
