Dave Meadows, 63, passed away on Oct. 30, 2022. He is survived by his wife, Susie Meadows; mother, Evelyn Aho; parents-in-law, Nick (Connie) Nicholas; children, Kristen (Paul) Spicola, Julie (Ryan) Smith, and Max (Alex) Upton; brother, Jeff Aho; siblings-in-law, Mike (Carrie) Nicholas, and Ricky (Valerie) Nicholas; aunt, Ann Heikkila; grandchildren, McKenzie Meadows, Chase and Enzo Spicola, Kadence, Brooke and Payton Smith, and Robby, Luke and Ellie Upton; and numerous other close relatives and friends.
Preceded in death by his father, Reino Aho; son, Damian Meadows; siblings, Gary Aho and Linda Bond; niece, Dacia Bond; nephew, Brett Bond; and uncle, Wesley Heikkila.
Dave was born on Aug. 4, 1959, in Cloquet, Minn. and at a young age was a bodybuilder.
He enjoyed hunting, music, playing guitar, motorcycle rides, golfing, the craps tables in Vegas, coaching baseball for his son Damian, football and Sunday morning MTV music videos. He loved his grandchildren with a passion and dedicated his time attending all of their events, dance recitals, games, and racing. He had an exemplary worth ethic, was dedicated to the glass industry for over 42 years, and worked as an estimator for Glass Force, Inc. Dave was a genuinely kind, caring, and passionate man. His love for his family showed in everything he did and he made friends with everyone he met. He enjoyed his life, his friends, and especially his family.
Viewing, 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday, in the Montgomery & Steward Chapel. Funeral service, 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 7, 2022, at Praise Assembly of God, 2000 Troy Ave. Interment, Imperial Memorial Gardens.
