Charlotte L. Overton, 90, passed away April 14, 2018. Survived by Chuck (Melanie) Overton; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by husband, Charles Overton; daughter, Vicky Knutson; and seven siblings. Charlotte was born to Martin and Sylvia Davis on Feb. 20, 1928, in Kellerton, Iowa, she spent most of her career days in Des Moines and retired to Colorado in 1992. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, dancing, a competitive game of cards and collecting Precious Moments. Charlotte was so sweet, greatly loved and will be missed by all. Viewing, 5 to 6 p.m., Thursday, April 19 in the Montgomery & Steward Chapel. Graveside service, 1 p.m. Friday, April 27, at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery in Des Moines, Iowa. I will always remember Charlotte for her great smile and warm personality!! My sincere and heartfelt thoughts and prayers are with the family at this time. I was one of Vicky’s classmates and friends during our days at North High School in Des Moines, Iowa.
