Guestbook

  1. My prayers go out to Joyce. Joyce and Sparky were dear friends of my father, Art. I remember all the basketballs games and all the times they were over for breakfast. Sparky was a good person.

  2. I am sorry to say I never knew Carl W. “Sparky” Johnson…I knew him as my cousin Billy. He and his twin brother Willy were as close as as family could be when we were all busy growing up back in the 50’s and 60’s. Our families spent a lot of time together and every Sunday we would accompany our parents to Gus’ Place for the Dutch lunch…of course.

One of our greatest adventures was the summer our combined families of 4 adults and 7 kids along with their dog whiskers piled into our 55 Plymouth station wagon and drove to Taos, New Mexico to see a painting in an old church that Uncle Roy had read about. It was claimed that it miraculously transformed from one image to another at midnight each night. We had a lot of fun together. RIP Billy
