Caleb Michael Sandidge, 20, passed away unexpectedly on Jan. 22, 2023. Survived by his mother, Alicia McDowell; father, Michael (Tara) Sandidge and John (Heather) Silvagni; siblings, Isabella, Isaiah, Gabrielle, Callum, Aesira, and Freya; grandparents, Rick and Jeannie Sandidge and Jeff and Donna Lee; and numerous other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by great-grandparents, Dick and Lilly Sandidge and Norman and Beverly Woloszyn.
Caleb was born to John Silvagni (adopted by Michael Sandidge) and Alicia Nelson on Dec. 1, 2002, in Dunkirk, N.Y. He attended Perry High School in Chandler, Ariz., graduated from Pueblo County High School, and worked as a correctional officer for the Colorado Dept. of Corrections. He loved all things aviation and was close to receiving his pilot’s license. Caleb was Patriotic and loved the military. He was a lover of animals and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Anyone who knew him knew he was an “old soul” when it came to music. He loved Lynyrd Skynyrd, Johnny Cash, CCR, and the list goes on. How lucky we were to have someone in our lives that makes saying “Goodbye” so hard.
Cremation by Montgomery & Steward Crematorium. Memorial service, 2 p.m. Monday, Jan. 30, 2023, in the Montgomery & Steward Chapel. You may be gone from this world but you live on forever in our hearts, our spirits, and our memories. The world is missing out with you being gone but I promise you that although we feel the pain of your loss we will cherish what we do have and always honor you. We all love you very much and nothing will ever change that.
