Barbara M. Walsh, 84, peacefully departed this life on June 23, 2016. She was born Nov. 30, 1931, in Pueblo, to Edward and Emma Walsh, who preceded her in death. In 1949, Barbara graduated from Pueblo Catholic High School and then from Pueblo Junior College. She retired from the CF&I office and then operated her own tax service for several years.
Survived by her brothers, Daniel Walsh and Edward (Marilyn) Walsh; and several cousins. Visitation, 4 to 6 p.m. Monday, June 26, 2016, in the Montgomery & Steward Chapel. Funeral Mass, 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 28, 2016, at St. Mary Church, 307 E. Mesa Ave. Interment will follow at Roselawn Cemetery.

I am so sorry to hear of Barbara’s passing. She was such a special lady to me and to my father. She did our taxes for years and was always so kind to us. She loved my little dog Gizmo and I would often just stop by to say hi and for her to play with Gizmo. She always had treats waiting for her. It was an honor to know her. Love to your family… may she rest in peace.

Barbara did taxes for my mother and then me for many years. I so admired her abilities with numbers and those dreaded income tax forms. I always felt confident when she completed my taxes. She was also a sweet, sweet lady. Rest in peace.
